Neither lens was a complete surprise, the 800mm was spotted by some eagle-eyed connoisseurs back at the London Olympics, and the 18-35mm lens saw its picture and spec list posted on the net many days ago. No word from Nikon if the 800mm monster is part of the Nikkor 80 years celebration theme. The lens will come bundled with a 1.25x tele converter, the AF-S Teleconverter TC800-1.25E ED, designed to work exclusively with the new 800mm lens.
