"The lenses in the kit, are great. The first thing you will notice, if you’re a Nikon SLR shooter, is the size and, of course, the new lens mount. Given the camera is mirrorless, it means the lens can be smaller and sit closer to the sensor than the F-mount lenses, hence the new CX sensor
size. The result on the lenses is that they are smaller and lighter, a pleasant thing when you are carry them around all day. Optically, they seem good to me. In the kit, both lenses have vibration reduction as well. Looking at some of the technical reviews will give you a much better picture of the optical performance, but in normal use I found that they worked well and no major flaws that I could easily discern. There was some vignetting on the image if you used the supplied lens hood on the 30-110mm at full extension, but if it was the choice between sunflare or a bit of vignetting, then I am happy to accept a little vignetting. I suspect most RAW camera converter profiles will deal with this.
